How do I confirm registration?
What are the age requirements?
You must be at least 12-years-old to participate in the Half Marathon and at least 8-years-old to participant in the 5K or 10K.
What are the course time limits?
Can a friend pick up my packet?
A friend can pick up your bib/packet; they will need a copy of your ID. Only 2 packets can be picked up at a time. If you would like to pickup more than 2 packets, you must start with 2, then go to the back of the line (if there is a line) and get 2 more.
What are the Race Rules?
Where do I get my Challenge Medal?
Once you complete your 10K and 5K, please visit the registration tent on race day to receive your Challenge medal.
What is gear check?
We can hold your gear for you while you race; please no valuables.
Where do I wear my race Bib (number) to ensure photos?
With each BDR, you get free race photos! Make sure your bib is pinned to the front of your shirt, keep an eye out for the photographers, and smile! You can view yours here (and past years too!).
How do I volunteer?

Do you have runner tracking?

Where can I find my race photos?
With each BDR, you get free race photos! Make sure your bib is pinned to the front of your shirt, keep an eye out for the photographers and smile! You can view yours here (and past years too!)
Can I change my race distance?
You can change your race distance, to a shorter distance or a longer distance. Use the link here (“Transfer to Another Event”), you will need to pay the difference if there is an increase; but our race fees are non-refundable so there are no refunds for downgrading distances.
Can my friends & family join me after the race?
Of course, they are more than welcome to join! But please, the food & beverage is only for registered runners.
Do you have on course support?
Yes! Each distance will have aid stations. Please click below to see the course aid stations.
Does BDR offer pacers?
What is a pacer? A pacer is a runner who helps you finish a race in a specific time. Our pacers typically work with groups who are going after similar time goals.
At BDR, we offer pacers (in the Half Marathon) so that you can your reach goal if you have a specific finish time. The pacers are local runners who have dedicated their race to run a set pace to help you reach your finish time goal. We only have pacers for our half marathon distance.
Can I bring my child in a stroller?
You are more than welcome to run with your jogging stroller, but you must start in the back of the corral for the safety of other runners, and for you and your mini-me!
Can I run with my dog?

Can I defer my registration?
Up until a specific date, you can defer your race to the following year. Click here for details.
Can I transfer my registration?
If you would like to transfer your race registration to someone else, that is an option. Using the link below, select to “Transfer to Another Runner,” you can do this for FREE up until 2 weeks out from the race date; check the site below for exact dates.
What is the Finish Line Post Race Party?
The Finish Line Post Race Party is the celebration of your achievement(s)! Athletes can enjoy food and drinks. On Friday and vendors will offer free samples, showcase the latest in running gear, sports apparel, health & nutritional information and much more.
Can I pick up my packet on race morning?
In case you did not make it to our health and fitness expo, you can pick up your packet race morning; visit the site here for exact times.
Where can I park?
What if there is bad weather?
The expo and race will go on with rain or wind. In the event there is lightning, there could be a delay, course distance change, or cancelation. Please always check your email box for race morning changes or our Facebook page for updates.
Do you have a Lost & Found?
If you have lost or found something, please visit our awards stage or registration tent.
Where is your Medical Support ⚕️?
All finish lines will have medical support, as well as mobile EMS units patrolling the course during the race. In addition, each aid station will have basic medical supplies, i.e. bandaids, Vaseline, etc.
What awards are offered?
Overall, Masters, Grand Masters and Age Group awards are given for each distance; we will announce on race morning estimated times for the award announcements.
Where can I get my Finisher Certificate?
Congrats on your finish! If you would like your Finisher Certificate, you can obtain that from RunSignUp.com. Your profile MUST be public for you to review it and print/share if you would like.
What if something is wrong with my finisher's medal?

What do we get to enjoy post race?
Runners get to enjoy a fun post race party including food & drink! Your friends & family are welcome to join, but the race food & beverage are only for registered runners.
